College Matchmaker.

Did you know colleges have a specific type of student they are hoping to recruit? Are you the perfect student for the colleges you are interested in and pursuing? Knowing which colleges view you as their ideal student can go a long way to getting a strong financial aid award at a school you might not have otherwise considered. Even if you don’t attend one of these schools, these strong awards can be used as leverage with your targeted schools.

Educational Webinars.

We have a full library of videos and webinars on all topics related to the college process…college admissions, college selection, cost of attendance and expected family contribution, need met, gift aid and self-help, appeals, etc. We will provide you the base line education you need to make intelligent decision both for your student and to save you money.

College Scorecard and Visit Questions.

College visits are one of the single most important aspects of choosing a college. However, the schools are experts at showing and telling you only what they want to hear. Do you know what questions to ask? We not only provide you questions to ask, but our Scorecard gives you a quantitative way to analyze and compare each school you visit so you make the right long term choice and save you money on the cost of college.

Private Scholarship Resources.

We provide you a list of websites that help you search for private scholarships. These websites are a great supplemental source for finding additional scholarship money to reduce your out of pocket expense.

Athletic C3 Education.

We have partnered with C3 Camps to provide students opportunities to be seen at ID Camps as well as to include their name / profile in a database that coaches from all over the country have access to.

Four-Year Forecast.

Too many families focus on simply the current year of college and take it on a year by year basis. We want you to be prepared and understand your aggregate costs. Our forecasting template helps you identify your four-year cost and the resources you have that you will use to fund college for the next four years.

Merit Max.

Not all college search tools are the same. Merit Max is available exclusively through Online College Planning. It will help you create a list of colleges that are likely to compete for your student and the out of pocket costs you can expect from each one.

Five-School Comparison.

In an easy to read head to head comparison, we’ll pit the 5 schools of your choosing against one another so you can see how they all stack up. We will forecast your financial aid award and out of pocket expense at all five schools. You’ll see the four and six year graduation rates. You can see which school offers the most academic scholarships and even the average athletic scholarship award. In fact, without this report, you could well wind up spending more than you have to and you may never know if your financial aid award from the school you ultimately choose was less than should have been expected!

College Data Sheets.

In this package, you will receive your choice of 3 of our two-page college reports which provide you everything you need to know on a college from contact info for the admissions and financial aid departments to admission requirements, financial aid details academic requirements and ACT/SAT scores for students. It will also include info on housing, loans, and extracurricular actives including athletics. Can this be found on the web? With some digging, but wouldn’t you rather have it conveniently on two pages?

College Planning Reports.

This is THE report that every parent of a college bound student MUST HAVE. Not only will it show you the projected cost of attendance at the school of your choice, it will show you your projected financial aid award. And it will even tell you if your financial aid eligibility could be improved, potentially saving you thousands if not tens of thousands of dollars over the course of college. Scholarships? Yes, that’s included too.  Based on your student’s GPA, ACT/SAT score, we’ll show you the scholarships for which they could have academic eligibility. There is so much valuable information loaded into this report, you will never look at college planning as a black box again!

Career Direct Assessment.

Career Direct takes an “X-Ray” of your personality, interests, skills and values and shows what that means for your child’s career. It is one of the few assessment tools that approach career guidance from a holistic perspective while focusing on four key dimensions of a person’s design- Personality, Interests, Skills, and Values. Career Direct® was developed to incorporate all four dimensions into a profile report.

Career Direct Assessment- Self-Guided Package.

Our basic report is designed to aide those in their self-discovery process looking for affirmation to their chosen path or to give you a place to start when your options seem overwhelming. The basic report is a fantastic entry point to understanding your student’s unique design.

Career Direct Assessment- Enhanced Package.

The Career Direct Detailed Report is a 30+ page in-depth report exploring all four areas of individual design- Personality, Interests, Skills and Values. This report will take your student deeper into their design and discuss strengths, weaknesses and critical life issues such as stress and financial management behaviors. Ready for a plan? This report provides you a Next Steps Action Plan to help synthesize the results for aligned career recommendations.

Career Direct Assessment- All-Inclusive Package.

The Career Direct All-Inclusive Package is designed for your family to get the most out of your Career Direct experience. Work with one of our trained and certified Consultants to get a personalized 1:1 session to go over the Career Direct results. Essay Guide & Editing.

Our essay guide answers the question, “what makes a good college essay?” Read tips and tricks on how to write an essay that stands out and gets you in at the college of your dreams. In addition to tips from our consultants and an “essay workshop” that walks you through how to craft your own essay, this guide also includes actual college essays with reactions from a college admission officer.

FAFSAssist- Enhanced Package.

Let us help you manage the financial aid process using our proven FAFSAssist technology. Similar to the Common Application for students (which is really a Master College Admission Application), FAFSAssist is similar, but only for Parents! It’s like having your very own financial aid administration assistant and coach. Each step in the complicated financial aid process is well organized and completed by the click of a button!

Merit Appeals Guidelines.

Once you’ve received a financial award letter, you should immediately compare the award to the award forecasts from your college planning reports. If the award is lower than projected, or if there has been a substantial change in income, employment, health, marital status, assets or any number of real world events that may impact your ability to pay for college, there may well be an opportunity to appeal the award. When there’s a case, we’ll arm you and walk you through the process to dramatically increase the odds of an improved financial aid award.
